Oslo municipality and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) are conducting a public health survey in Oslo. The survey will map the well-being, health, and quality of life among the city’s residents.

This project will investigate the relationships between air pollution and health in the Nordic countries.

Nearly 16 000 adolescents took part in studies that began in Oslo and Hedmark in 2000-2001. These were extended to four other counties in Norway in the following years.

The Oslo Health Study (HUBRO) was conducted in the City of Oslo from May 2000 to September 2001. The study consisted of an adult part and a youth part including all 15- and 16-year olds in Oslo.
