Yellow Fever Sertificate

This country requires documentation of yellow fever vaccination upon entry for travelers coming from or traveling via countries at risk of yellow fever transmission.

Malaria

Mosquito-bite prevention and chemoprofylaxis recommended.

Malaria risk exists throughout the year with a peak during monsoon (May–October); transmission occurs only in 13 of 64 districts (both in rural and urban areas). The risk is high in Chittagong Hill Tracts (Bandarban, Rangamati, and Khagrachari), Chittogram, and Cox's Bazar districts. Low risk exists in the districts of Hobigonj, Kurigram, Moulvibazar, Mymensingh, Netrakona, Sherpur, Sunamgonj, and Sylhet. Mosquito-bite prevention and chemoprophylaxis recommended in risk areas.

Most parts of the country, including Dhaka City, have no risk of malaria.
