Africa CDC is an important global health partner for Norway and a major partner for Norwegian Institute of Public health in terms of institutional co-operation.
Recognizing the need to strengthen integrated systems to address high burden diseases of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), injuries and mental health conditions, Africa CDC has developed and is now implementing its strategy “Non-Communicable Diseases, Injuries Prevention and Control, and Mental Health Promotion Strategy (2022 – 2026)”.
As the lead of Africa CDC’s unit for NCD, injuries and mental health, Dr Adelard Kakunze, is visiting Norway. NIPH has the pleasure of organizing a seminar to learn more about Africa CDC’s work on these issues and discuss collaboration and partnership with Africa CDC and Norwegian actors.
